On Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 5 p.m., Fun Time Early Childhood Academy (FTA) will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new additional location at Poinciana Elementary School, located at 2825 Airport Pulling Road North in Naples.
Fun Time Early Childhood Academy provides safe, quality, affordable education and care for children and parents from low-income working families and prepares the children for kindergarten, ready to read and ready to learn. Access to affordable, quality education is desperately needed in Collier County, and through this partnership with Collier County Public Schools (CCPS), the new center will accommodate up to 62 additional children.
The public is invited to celebrate the occasion with us and to experience firsthand our expansion and partnership with CCPS. “Collier County has over 15,000 children under the age of five. Only 17% of early learning centers are five-star or accredited. The need for quality child care that is affordable for working families is greater than ever. We are grateful for this partnership with CCPS,” said executive director Jessica Campbell.
Fun Time Early Childhood Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. As many of our families are economically needy, our efforts to provide a quality, affordable education benefit not only the child but also the family as parents are able to work full time. The children benefit from a quality education that will prepare them for kindergarten.
“Collier County Public Schools is thrilled to partner with Fun Time Early Childhood Academy! This new program, located at Poinciana Elementary School, will help CCPS employees and other parents in Collier County who are looking for a high-quality education program for their children, ages 2-4. We know this is a need of our community, and of our staff, and we are glad to help with an innovative solution,” said Lisa Morse, Senior Director of Community Engagement and District Initiatives for CCPS.
