We are thrilled to announce that The Healthy Earth Organization partnered up with Fun Time Academy to provide students ages 3 and 4 the tools to know how to properly recycle.
The recycle challenge helped the children identify and sort recyclable goods by helping them use critical thinking, quick response times, and what can and cannot be recycled.
Students had the opportunity to watch a video to help them identify what items can get recycled. Afterwards, they were separated into two groups to start the challenge. Children received an item and had to decide if the item goes in the trash or into the recycle.
Teaching young children about recycling is an important step in developing their understanding of sustainability and the environment. By teaching recycling at a young age, we know we are instilling good habits that will benefit the environment for years to come.
