Naples, FL [April 9, 2024]– Fun Time Early Childhood Academy (FTA) is pleased and honored to announce that we have recently been awarded a grant in the amount of $25,000 by the Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) of Southwest Florida. FTA was selected to receive the grant based on the Conscious Discipline Curriculum delivery.  The Conscious Discipline Curriculum utilizes everyday events to cultivate emotional intelligence through a self-regulation program that integrates social-emotional learning and discipline. The grant runs from May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, and will provide funding to serve 348 children and parents.

WGC co-chairs Marty Howard and Noreen Thomas explained, “The Fun Time Academy proposal was selected to support our mission of improving the quality of the life of disadvantaged women and their families in Southwest Florida, and our focus this year on children’s health and well-being.”
